No doubt big red has the toughest schedule around. But facing a team that hasn't punted yet this season is saying something. I hope big red wins. I feel it's gonna be worse than Massillon game.
Let's pray for a down pour in Death Valley from 7-930 Friday night.

Bottom line, they are very, very good. They are not Massillon. Unless that Defense has drastically improved, we will score points. Also, I have faith in the Best Coaching Staff in the State of Ohio. Mistakes killed us last week, there again will be no wiggle room to repeat this problem, again. It's simple >>> we execute, we win going away. I stick by my 36-22 prediction. RollRedRoll

It means they've played a bunch of scrubs. It also means that they haven't practiced any punts in a real game situation yet. I predict that at least one punt gets blocked.

Weather is supposed to suck! Wind and rain with thunder and lightning! ! Only bad thing about that is it is home coming. Other than that, our running game, should help control the clock! Goodluck RED!

42 people are nuts if they think Athens will beat the Red by more than a couple of TD's Aint going to happen wishful people aint going to happen. Just can't see that.

Given the travel time for Athens and the interest in the game from outsiders - why on earth did the AD's not schedule this game for Saturday back in the summer?

A generous estimate would be 2,000 more fans would have showed up this Saturday as opposed to Friday.

That's $10,000 for the gate alone.

I look for Big Red to come after Burrow with multiple blitzes. When Big Red is on offense I don't think Athens cant stop them.

But they also need to cover with the DB's

Don't expect to much of a crowd from Athens. I was at all 3 playoff games of Athens last year and if it wasn't for the Trimble and Nelsonville fans at the game there watching they wouldn't have had 500 people there.
Sounds like this should be a good game to see if the Athens Defense is just a product of playing 5 bad football teams or if they have really improved. We know what the offense can do but this game is a big measuring stick for their defense to see if they have a legit shot of beating a good team in the playoffs that can slow down their offense.
As far as being intimidated going into death valley? You will not intimidate the QB but the Wr's once they got hit last year against Marion Franklin they got alligator arms very quickly and laid down. So if the Big Red can a couple big hits early they receivers will slow down.

Ponchos only. There is cover underneath the far side and endzone stands if it rains hard.

I try to watch Steubenville at least once a season and I've seen them actually prevent people from entering the stadium with umbrellas, again as it should be. Many stadiums post on the outside no umbrellas, but do not enforce it.
