This Thursday, July 8th at 8:30 PM, the director for the Rally in the Valley will be on the site here in this forum taking questions, and giving answers.

This is your opportunity to ask everything you've wanted to know, and propose any thoughts, questions, and feedback that you have.

I will unlock this thread at 8:00 Thursday evening, and you can start posting your questions at that time.

          I'll pose the first question.

Why was this event not held in Wheeling again? I've heard so many different things... you owed them money, they owed you money... what is the real story there?

            I have 2 questions.

How many different venues did you look at? Wheeling, Bridgeport, Steubenville? Why not Bellaire?

Second question; how did you get the teams from Florida?

Will you have entertainment for the event? If you need clowns, let me know.

Are you going to officially call this event "Rally in Death Valley"? I think you should. That would differentiate it from last year's event in Wheeling. After all, everybody in the Ohio Valley calls Harding Stadium "Death Valley."

I know that Morgantown got $25,000 for agreeing to move their home game to allow Steubenville to host this event.

                    1) Does this money come from sometype of sponsor or how?

The 2nd question I have is what did Valley Wetzel get to allow Bridgeport to play Central.

The 3rd question I have is did Valley Wetzel get a replacement game for allowing this to happen, if so who are they now playing.

Ken good luck with this event and I think its great what you are try to do for high school football.

No, it's not true. Anybody who plays there calls it Death Valley. Big Red has only lost one game there in the past seven years.

That's OK...... just keep telling yourself that, the rest of us will call it Harding Stadium.
