    A.Davis Park
    Sancomb CC
    Thoburn St C
    Isaly River
    Slaughter NP
    Grove Dover
    Milam Brooke
    Cross Weir
    Taylor Linsly
    Haney Steub
    Burlenski CC
    Barnett Camb
All demand constant attention. Also Vincent from Bpt, Cross Burlenski and Isaly play a lot of midrange though and are big drivers also. So maybe not pure shooters, same with Pettigrew. I’d say New Phily Slaughter/Grove Isaly Davis for consistency, Thoburn and Milam for shots anywhere and deep and the ability to just light you up. Cross for his baseline categories even though he is just a scorer period. Aiden Davis probably has the best 3 especially for his size and still put him a shooter category, true 2 guard. I know East Liverpool and Creek have some good shooters also. Aiden Davis final. Sure I missed a few.

Vincent imo, in the mix at the top of the leaderboards in multiple stats for the state . 48-107 from 3 shooting 45%.. that’s a clip.

That’s pretty solid. Probably 40 percent and at least 50 attempts half way in is a minimum. Then factor in who is on d and what is being done to stop you. Normally The bigger school bigger schedule kids like Davis, Taylor Grove etc getting Linsly, Motown, Massilon, Park with long guards 6 16’2, 6,3 who can move. etc weighs for me a little more than playing super small schools with small pesky defenders you can shoot over and drop 30 on. Vincent is only a freshman though so he should definitely be near the top based on age and the bulldogs not really having much else. Haney is also special drawing some pretty good d but also having a good surrounding cast. Davis, Haney , Cross Isaly are also small guards the rest are are 61 6,2. Steph made the 3 the thing so there are a ton who can really shoot now.

Small school or not the question was best shooter, he’s a freshman with seniors face guarding him without getting help or screen. He’s shot creating for himself. Shooting is shooting at the end of the day if you can do it you can do it on anyone. For as big as Park is by your logic they should have a banner every year. Big doesnt mean the kids are automatically more advanced.

That doesn’t make sense. Park plays other schools their size that’s why they don’t have a banner every year. It does depend who is on you. I can shoot but I’m not dropping 30 on an nba defender. It does matter. Yes he is a freshman guarded by seniors and scoring that’s why I said he belongs but the rest isn’t correct. We have small kids break records all of the time while d1 5A kids average 18-20 a game because they play better defenders on better teams and get recruited because of that. It’s just the way it is Doesn’t mean he can’t or couldn’t score on great defenders at big schools just means he hasn’t. I think you are taking me wrong. But it’s hard to put someone at the top in front of kids who have proved it against everyone for years as opposed to a third of a season against small terrible teams. I hope he does great and I hope he stays home. He can alter the program.hopefully he can get some screens and help.

It doesn’t matter I understand people think big school means better talent, but that not always the case. Especially around the valley, for example I’d take Monroe central over most of the bigger schools right now. The one constant thing you have to remember most of the kids around the valley don’t put the work in day in day out, and for that reason I feel like the amount of really good players around here are few and far between. The last two post I think you guys both made really good points but at the end of the day if you can hoop you can hoop. If you can shoot you can shoot. Doesn’t matter who’s the comp, all that matters is can you put the ball through the hoop. So far the Vincent boy has proven to be one of those guys.

I agree he is one of those top guys.I had him on my list. Monroe Central is very good as well. Outstanding coach and a special player.

Davis and Cross…. Next batch Topher and Thoburn and pick 1 from Liverpool to round it out.

Competition absolutely matters when night in and night out it’s basically a quality team most nights….

Seperately… Have Davis and Cross guard the others talked about and there stats drop
most definitely like we’ve already seen.

I would like to see stats. Percentages and makes matter. Not really interested in someone telling me he can shoot, anyone can shoot on a given night. Stats tell the truth. Thanks ItsOFFWhite for giving me something, hopefully we can get more of these young men’s stats on here so we can see how everyone stacks up so far this season.

I can only speak for Cross. He has shot 43 percent from three on 53 attempts. He has been matched up with Park Steubenville, Brooke and East Liverpool. Weir plays Linsly and he willl get big college level guards on him with little other offensive threats. He has a couple 40 nights but is primarily a driver mid range player but will hit 3s if you let him which most teams try and stop. Brooke held him to 3 pts no 3s with a box and 1 with rotating man on him. His 3pt stats are pretty typical for local sharp shooting 2 guards. What is special about him and Davis is every other way they score while being good 3 shooters as well. Burlenski, Topher and Isaly are not really 3 guys they kill you off the dribble in many ways but are more drive and kick or score 3 as a last resort.Isaly pulls up the most.

All conjecture unless media posts stats if that is the guidepost. Still depends on who played imo

                              yeah tough night
Problem is a lot of bigger schools don’t post stats on sites like max preps. You basically give the other team your player’s proficiency rates in numerous areas. Better to make coaches scout and dig or believe what they here or read in the paper. Ohios max prep ranking has a lot of the top stat guys all from small schools as a result.
