I don’t know if it’s reading comprehension or what but nobody said Davis dropped off, also your high Davis is a stellar scorer and he’s a SR so I would hope he would have success. Dk if your a glazer or what but I can guarantee you he would start anywhere in the valley. Go ask your favorite coach/player.

As said above I’m in these circles with your favorite coach while you sit and watch OVSO and News9.You have to create second profiles too back your opinion. I don’t need to sit courtside nightly to tell you playing D7 sports just isn’t the same as the kids playing D5 and above. Again, look at schedules yearly in small and large schools.

Did he turn down an offer to play D1 hoops for Steve Lavin in California? They're calling my take delusional. No one said Goodwin could play at Duke or that Reese could play at Kentucky. I listed 5 extremely talented kids that had D2 and D1 offers to confirm that they can/will play D2. The "offers" are coming from the coach, not a mother or father on IG, so yes, the offers do matter because without them, that means they aren't recruiting you.

Those other 3 guys listed were great players that dominated 1a,2a,3a a few years back, but if I'm building a "D2 team", I'm taking Davis, Sancomb, Straub, Goodwin, and Reese over them.

The discussion started when a guy said there are NOT 5 guys that can play D2 hoops in the OVAC; well, there are. Not sure why some guy decided to move the post to claim Sancomb can't play at West Virginia Wesleyan because Islay and Soho played D3; it doesn't make any sense.

Whether Goodwin performs well or not, when that guy returns to the OVA message board in three years, Goodwin will still have played D1 basketball; that cannot be taken away from the kid.

I believe Skyvue was state runner up back to back years sometime in the 80’s
