Thoughts on 24-25 OV Basketball

Bport dropped Paden City, Hundred, Wood County. Picked up Rosecrans, Bellaire, and Magnolia. So not exactly the same from last year, and at least a step in the right direction. And I would imagine they will continue to upgrade their schedule the following seasons.

Played Bellaire last year, dropped Monroe Central this year for Magnolia.

like I said…. Virtually identical schedule as last season. See who the replacements are for WCC and Hundred.

18 games on max preps they played 24 last season with an OVAC and Tourney game included.

Played bellaire in OVAC game was not on schedule during regular season. Played MC in regular season once last year and once in 2nd round of playoffs. Dropped MC for Rosecrans. Dropped games against Paden City, 2 Wood County, and 2 against Hundred for games with Bellaire and Magnolia. Definitely an upgrade. By the way your corny ass got up at 8 and thought about the Dogs, that’s the way to be.

All I was saying is they're going in right direction. You can't expect them to play the top teams but dropping the teams they did helped alot and will help building toward the future.
Ferry may have one of the toughest schedules I've heard of so far. Big Red may be one of the most talented teams in the valley since the monterso st c teams or those early 2000 Bellaire teams . Not saying they're as good but I'm saying they're probably the most talented I've seen since then

Rider87 I don’t know what 71malkin problem is. But your right, it is a step in right direction. Also Ferry’s schedule is tuff, and will prepare them for a playoff run. I know a lot of the kids on that team I’ll be rooting for them.

Fairbanks

Cameron

plus Ferry twice.

Edit:
looks like they dropped Frontier x2 and Bport x2 and a couple other teams like tusky cent cath to pick up those teams.

Monroe Central/Whg Central play in the Sam Andy Classic Dec 13 at Wesbanco Arena. Should be a good one.

I have zero problem with any team just giving the parents facts provided from either MaxPreps or Hudl Fan

Bellaire returns three starters all three will be four year starters that includes 1,000 point scorer Zara Harveth . Bellaire should be on par with Ferry as they split last season .

Fort Frye girls should be solid again this year.
