    Dover invited to Ohio Cardinal Conference

    The Crimson Tornadoes received an invitation to join the OCC on Wednesday, Dec. 13 and the BoE will vote on a recommendation on Jan. 8, 2024.

      Yes they are, but I can probably see them leaving like New Philly.

          I don’t think they’ll miss the OVAC either. Hardly anyone would play them, especially in football. If you’re too good, people
          won’t play you.

                They will definitely be leaving the OVAC. Not going to turn down a chance to join OCC.

                  I guess that shows you in basketball especially,in the ovac that Dover has won in the big school division the last two years , that West Virginia basketball is not that strong

                    the same Dover teams that beat the big school WV state champs (Morgantown) were also first game knock outs in the Ohio playoffs. So yeah safe to say the teams are stronger and way more plentiful in Ohio. Morgantown was a big fish in a little pond (WV) Dover also a little fish in Ohios big pond.

                      Winning the OVAC is not a big deal for Morgantown.
                      They are always looking for bigger fish.
