USC Mark Sanchez to enter the NFL draft

Boy, Coach Carol kinda killed him during the press conference, basically saying that he's not ready.

In my mind, if I were a scout, and his own coach (who was a former NFL coach) said that he's not ready, that would be good enough warning for me.

I think that Sanchez is taking advantage of the fact that 3 of the top QBs in the nation decided to NOT enter the draft...

Personally... I dont think he's a first round draft pick like he's being projected. I would be pissed if my team drafted him.

Maybe Carroll was trying to make him stay, being a little selfish maybe? But who knows, USC still has a pretty good qb behind with Mich Mustain. Who was like the #1 or #2 Qb in his recruiting class and is a transfer and former starter at Arkansas

He has prototypical size and arm strength for a qb in the nfl. He only has one year of experience but ran a pro-style offense very well. As a penn state fan, i watched him torch our secondary on the skinny post. I think he'll be a very good player in the NFL but it's going to be a long-term investment IMO.

Overrated!!! Dirty Sanchez couldnt start at Ohio State or WVU this past season.

Heck, if he was at Ohio State, he would have been 3rd string.

Look at it this way; if Pat White, Boeckman, or Pryor were at USC, they would've been riding the pine behind Sanchez. Yeah buddy

The more I see it on ESPN, the more I think Carrol was being a little selfish. Don't give the man crap about experience, look at what Matt Cassel did this year. And if you didn't know he was the backup QB for Leinart and never started a collegiate game.

Sanchez will be a better NFL quarterback than anyone you named.

I bet this Sanchez guy never starts more than 8 games in his whole career

Are you kidding me?!?!?! Pat White was one of the most exciting qbs to ever play college football and you cannt deny that! If he would have went to USC they would have adapted to his run and gun style and he would have been even more exciting playing with a better o-line and better receivers who would actually catch the ball! They would have done the same for prior, too. Boeckman's terrible though. Having said that, i sadly think sanchez will be a decent nfl qb...

Pat White is also the only college QB to win 4 bowl games.

Pat White would be playing WR or DB if he were at USC.

I hate how the pro's have an "ideal" weight and height for positions. Wow, watch they do in college. Who cares if they aren't 6 foot (Troy Smith). If the kid shows he can play than he can play.
