A nationally known watchdog group known as Anonymous has hacked several Steubenville sites in an effort to expose more information about the alleged rape involving several student athletes at Steubenville High School.
The group has given anybody involved a deadline of Janruary 1st to respond with an apology and additional information, or they have threatened to hack more information, and release it to the public.
Anonymous is a well known world-wide hacking group that is responsible for exposing and leaking information from several Fortune 500 companies, and even the United States Government. The group was voted one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2012.
