Canton, Ohio will be awash in black and gold during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony, with Bill Cowher, Troy Polamalu and Donnie Shell going in as members of the Class of 2020, and Alan Faneca and Bill Nunn as members of the Class of 2021.
The Hall of Fame announced the order of speeches for the respective ceremonies, with the Steelers kicking things off.
Shell will be the first of the Pittsburgh Steelers to give his speech as a member of the Class of 2020 on Saturday, Aug. 7, which is the Hall’s Centennial Class, when he is the seventh of the enshrinees to talk. Polamalu will be 10th, and Coach Bill Cowher will finish the night off as the 12th and final enshrinee to deliver his speech.
On Sunday, Aug. 7, Faneca will be the sixth member of the class enshrined, out of a total of seven who will be delivering speeches. A video tribute to Nunn will be shown, as he was enshrined posthumously in a special ceremony on April 28.
All enshrinees have been told speeches will be limited to six minutes, with cutoff music coming at the eight-minute mark, to move things along.
