WHEELING — Surprises? As expected they were few and far between as the state of Ohio kicked off its playoff festivities.
To illustrate this point further, I missed just two selections on the Ohio side of the river. Speaking of River, it made me look foolish for picking Monroe Central, didn’t it? The other one? I selected Meadowbrook to go down simply because of the need to make an “Upset Special” selection, which everyone can see isn’t going so well this season.
Still another week until West Virginia gets in playoff mode, but for some the time has already come where a loss ends the season.
