WHEELING — And then there were six OVAC teams left in the state of Ohio postseason. Half of those will be eliminated this week, as we have three valley matchups ahead.
St. Clairsville started the season as the top dog in our rankings, fell down the board a bit and then climbed back to the top. It’s looking more and more as though predicting the Red Devils in that spot to begin with, was spot-on.
Over on the West Virginia side of the river Wheeling Park punched its ticket while simultaneously eliminating rival John Marshall from contention. Cameron earned the top seed in Class A, with a likely date with Wheeling Central looming in the quarterfinals.
Man, these are the good times!
