Ohio Valley Athletics is excited to introduce the Ironman award. The naming of this award was intentional, while paying tribute to the Wheeling Ironman, the word Ironman often refers to a football player that participates on both sides of the field for the offense and defense.
True to the origin of the definition, the finalist for our Ironman award made an impact on both sides of the ball, while being a positive leader for their team and the Ohio Valley.
