BETHANY, W.Va. – Senior attacker Clay Yingling put himself in the Bethany College record books by breaking the all-time career goals record in Bethany’s 9-6 win over Wilmington College, Wednesday evening. His goal with 1:28 to go in the first period broke the record previously held by Jake Holland (2014-17).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It didn’t take long for the Bison to take the early lead over the Quakers. Clay Yingling scored his first goal of the game from a pass by Conor Sinclair. The Bison took a 2-0 lead after Raymond Rogers found the back of the net.
- Wilmington cut the deficit in half scoring with 7:21 to go in the first period. Yingling scored his second goal of the game on a behind the back shot to give the Bison a 3-1 lead.
- In the second, the Quakers outscored the Bison 3-2. Tyler Britton scored twice for the Bison to help keep the Bison lead. Bethany led 5-4 heading into the halftime break.
- In the final two periods, Bethany outscored Wilmington 4-2 to take the win. Both Yingling and Britton had two goals apiece in the second half.

- Tyler Britton led the Bison with four goals and one assist.
- Clay Yingling added four goals of his own.
- Raymond Rogers had one goals and a team-high two assists.
- Conor Sinclair had two assists.
- John Rogers and Rob Taylor led the Bison with three caused turnovers. Taylor led the Bison with six groundballs.
