Wheeling, WV – Wheeling Jesuit baseball dropped two games to Ashland University by scores of 12-1 and 15-2.
The Eagles hit three round trippers in the first game and followed with two in the second as they collected 15 hits in both games.
The Cardinals put up 14 hits on the day with Dominic San Felippo leading the way with three hits on the day. The junior went 2-3 in the first frame with two doubles. San Felippo reached on a single in game two with a 1-3 effort. Tom Charles also collected two hits in game one and added a sigle in the second game. Mike ludewig and Mark Linkinoggor also added singles in each contest.
Wheeling Jesuit will host the University of Charleston on Wednesday, April 7th. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
