MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University is hosting its annual Gold-Blue Spring Football Game presented by Kroger on Friday, April 29, at 7 p.m., at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The gates open at 6 p.m., and tickets are available for $10 each. They can be purchased at the Milan Puskar Stadium North and West gates on game day with cash or a check, or in advance at the Mountaineer Ticket Office located in the WVU Coliseum. WVU students will be admitted free with a valid ID.
There will be no stadium re-entry passes issued for the game. Stadium seating, restrooms and concessions will be open on the west upper and lower side only.
The following east side parking lots are available for parking for this year’s Gold-Blue Game and will open at 4 p.m. on Friday: F1, F2, F3, F4, D and E. The following hospital parking lots on the west side are available and will open at 5 p.m.: A, A2, M2, K1, K2, K3 and L.

Fans are encouraged to attend the Mountaineer Gear sale in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility pregame from 2-6 p.m., and a free Davisson Brothers concert in the stadium lot (K4) near the Ronald McDonald House from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fans are permitted to bring their own lawn chairs to the concert; lawn chairs are not permitted inside the stadium for the game. Also, concessions will be sold at both events.
Festivities are set to begin at 7 p.m., with an old timer’s game, featuring former Mountaineer players. The simulated game under the lights will conclude WVU’s spring football drills. The defense will make up the blue team, while the offense will be on the white squad.
Once again this year, there will not be an autograph session following the game, and fans will not be permitted on the field. Mountaineer Football will conduct its annual Fan Day in August with details being released later this summer.
