With the completion of the college football season, the Football Writers Association of America has named Dana Holgorsen the first-year coach of the year. Along with winning the Big East, Holgorsen led his Mountaineers to a 70-33 victory over the Clemson Tigers in the Discover Orange Bowl.
Along with winning the award, Holgorsen has also announced five players who will be enrolled for the 2012 spring semester.
