Union Local football coach Mark Cisar announced that he will step down as head coach of the Jets football program.
In 2007, Cisar led the Jets to their first ever playoff game in his first year, with the Jets going 9-2 in his 1st year. In the following year, Cisar again took the Jets to the playoffs, advancing to the 2nd round. They finished the season 10-2, breaking the school record(set the year before) for wins in a single season.
The past 3 years have been rough for Cisar, as the Jet’s have only compiled 2 victories since 2010. His overall record is 27-36.
Cisar will remain on staff in his current role as athletic director and head baseball coach.
