COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Buckeyes will play three Big Ten Conference games in primetime this season with the broadcast carrier for each game – either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 – still to be determined. The Buckeyes’ primetime league schedule includes the Oct. 17 game at Ohio Stadium vs. Penn State, the Oct. 24 game at Rutgers and the Nov. 7 game at Ohio Stadium vs. Minnesota.
Start times for the Penn State and Rutgers games have been set for 8 p.m. EST. The game against the Golden Gophers will start at either 7 p.m. or 8 p.m.
Ohio State opens its season with a primetime game on ESPN at Virginia Tech. A start time has not been determined, but the game, from Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va., will be televised by ESPN.

Ohio State is a combined 34-19 in night games played on the road (22-10) or at a neutral site (12-9), and 12-4 in Ohio Stadium night games. Ohio State has won seven consecutive night games since losing, 35-21, to Virginia Tech in the 2014 home opener at Ohio Stadium.
