The Pittsburgh Steelers placed their franchise tag on 26 year old linebacker LaMarr Woodley today.
As the franchise player, the Steelers have to average the top five salaries at outside linebacker and pay Woodley that average.
Based off of the current salaries, Woodley is set to make around 10 million next year.
