It was just a preseason game, but the opportunity to host fans again at Heinz Field was still one the Steelers embraced.
Wide receiver Diontae Johnson spent some time during tonight’s pregame warmup posing for pictures with fans standing in one of the roped-off areas on the playing surface.
Outside linebacker T.J. Watt signed a few autographs for those seated in the first row or two.
There was even a frisbee dogs exhibition prior to kickoff, which received the approval of many in attendance.
The cheers kept coming with regularity thereafter as the Steelers improved to 3-0 on the preseason with a 26-20 victory over the Lions.
