She placed 13th at the national championships with a mark of 13.83 meters (45′ 4.5) and was the only female from the MEC to qualify for the event. A two-time MEC Women’s Field Athlete of the Year, Fleming was also a 2021 USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region selection in hammer and shot put and an Indoor All-Region honoree in weight and shot put.
Fleming graduated with the school records in the weight throw, hammer throw and shot put. She earned her degree in exercise science with a 3.31 cumulative GPA.
