A loss for Weirton Madonna is a gain for West Virginia University.
For Weirton Madonna, Max Nogay has done it all. This past fall he quarterbacked the Dons to their 2nd State Championship in school history. On the wrestling mat, he’s a two time West Virginia State Champ, and on the baseball field, Nogay is a two time member of the All State Team.
Nogay will continue his academic career at WVU where he was offered a scholarship by Mountaineer head baseball coach, Greg Van Zant.
As a sophomore Nogay hit .462, followed by .451 as a junior for the Dons.
