A few days after being named the Big East Special Teams Player of the Year, Tavon Austin received more hardware for his terrific season. Austin was named Second Team All-American on Monday afternoon. Austin made the team as a special teams player. For the season, Austin has 19 punt returns for 268 yards (24.4 ypg). Austin has been more dangerous in the kickoff return game where he has 31 returns for 821 yards (74.6 per game) and 2 returns for touchdowns. Austin will look to use his playmaking ability to help his No. 23 Mountaineers in their Discover Orange Bowl game Jan. 4 against No. 15 Clemson.
