WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, are excited to announce three uniforms for the 2012-13 season. Wheeling will continue to wear white and black as their two primary jersey colors, but the crest of both uniforms will feature the Nailer shield colored gold and black, as opposed to red and black. The Nailers will be using red as the uniform color for their alternate jersey.
For the first half of the regular season, fans will see the Nailers sport their new white jerseys at WesBanco Arena. The white jerseys feature the aforementioned newly designed shield logo on the crest, with a black and gold trim.. The numbers and letters on the white jerseys will be black, with a gold outline. Black pants and white socks will complete this uniform.
For the second half of the regular season, fans will see the Nailers sport their new black jerseys at WesBanco Arena. The black jerseys also feature the newly designed shield logo on the crest, with a white and gold trim. The numbers and letters on the black jerseys will be white, with a gold outline. Black pants and black socks will complete this uniform.
Finally, fans will be introduced to a new red alternate jersey, which the Nailers will wear on Sunday afternoons during the season at WesBanco Arena. The crest of the red jerseys will feature “NAILERS,” spelled out diagonally from the top-left to the bottom-right in black letters, outlined in gold. The familiar shield logo will be featured on both shoulders, colored in the traditional red and black. The numbers and letters on the red jerseys will be black, with a gold outline. Black pants and red socks will complete this uniform.
The Home and Away jerseys are now available for pre-order via the Nailers’ online store at www.wheelingnailers.com. Adult jerseys are $99, youth jerseys are $79, and season ticket holders get 15% off.

The Nailers will begin the regular season on October 13th in Cincinnati, in the first of four straight road games, before playing their home opener on October 26th against the Reading Royals.
