Ashley McSweeney earned First Team honors for the 2010 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Atlantic Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
After suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in 2009, McSweeney returned in 2010 as a utility player. She made appearances at shortstop, second base, center field, and the designated player position.
McSweeney played in 41 games, collecting 49 hits in 135 at-bats for a .363 batting average. She earned extra bases 18 times, including five home runs and 13 doubles. McSweeney drove in 19 Lady Cardinals and scored 22 runs.
In the field, McSweeney posted a .929 fielding percentage, committing only seven errors in 98 chances with 53 putouts and 38 assists
